moving - round 1

Hello hello,

Well finals are over and Lubbock is empty. & so is my house! This is the first move I'll be making in the next 2 months. Everything is packed for the most part...there's still a ton more stuff to be done though!

I found out that I'll be living in the University Apartments while I'm in Hobart which is very exciting because those are generally for students who are going to be there for a full year but they made an exception for me! :) The way it is set up is that there are three individual bedrooms on one side of the apartment that share a bathroom and a small living area. Then in the middle is a larger living area and the kitchen. And then three more bedrooms on the other side. I requested to live with girls (you're welcome Dad).

I have been talking to a girl named Stacey from Kentucky who will be in Hobart at the same time as me. She has sisters and has never been away from them so shes nervous about the adventure too. She currently goes to a small christian university. I'm SOO excited that God has put her in my life...I feel that it was totally His will for her to facebook me and I cannot wait to meet her! (We'll have a nice 14 hour flight to get to know each other! haha).

Hey yall,
I made this blog so that my readers can follow me through my Tasmanian adventures starting in 2 months & one week. exciting!?
Plans are coming along quickly. I'm just waiting for my itinerary from my travel agent. & I have to attend an orientation on Saturday at Tech.
I'm extremely excited..with a lot of scared/anxious feelings mixed in. There is a lot of unknowns for me. I don't know where I'll be living. I don't know what, if any, scholarships I'll be getting. I don't know if I'll receive an internship. I don't know where I'll be living during the month of January. Plus many more unknowns. I'd completely appreciate it if yall would start praying for me to have peace over all this.
I'll update again soon. :)
