Nine Days!

Holy smokes! I LEAVE IN NINE DAYS! It doesn't seem real. People keep asking me if I'm nervous, excited, scared, etc and honestly I don't know what I'm feeling...it's still so surreal to me that I'm going to LIVE in another country, let alone Australia! :)

Considering my departure date is approaching rapidly, Lauren came over tonight to help me pack. :) She is suuuch a wonderful sister! And I am very thankful for her mad packing skills. Here are some pictures just to show how awesome she is:

I had a wonderful time at Saturday at my going away party hosted by Nanna Bell! Everyone (okay, not really EVERYONE) that I love was there! But I was so blessed to have friends come in town for my party (thank you Rachel, Matt, Judi, Tommy, Dana & Sara!). Thank you Nanna for hosting the party for me, it was truly a special event. I can't wait for my welcome home party! ;)

Dallas.

I left Lubbock yesterday and that was quite possibly one of the hardest things ever!!! Its hard to think about what all I will miss by being gone for five months. Lubbock is everything that I love...my friends, red raiders and work (yeah, I know) and being away from them will be absolutely awful. But hopefully very worth it.

So now I'm in Dallas! In the next two weeks I'll be doing last minute stuff and spending time with family. Paisley (my boxer) has been in Dallas for the past two weeks because my mom and step dad will be watching her while I'm gone. She was VERY excited to see me. :)

Tonight is my going away party at my Nanna's house. She is making my FAVORITE: chicken enchiladas! I'm trying to eat as much mexican food before I go because I highly doubt Australia will have good mexican food. Haha.

Oh, awesome news! I was awarded a scholarship from AustraLearn for $800. I'm very thankful for that. God is totally awesome!

I believe thats all I have to say for now. As always, I appreciate the prayers that are going out for me.
